Beginners Spanish Course

beginners spanish courseI could not hope to teach you to speak perfect Spanish with a single article, if I could do that, I would be rich, but it is not that easy.
It is quite easy however, to increase your initial motivation by supplying you with the foundations to build up from. That is what I’m aiming for here.

I want to teach you the bare basics, plus point you in the direction of, in my opinion, the best beginners Spanish course that I have found so far.

These methods allow you to hear the sounds as you learn, this is a huge advantage over how we used to study, and it helps you to get the correct pronunciation, from the outset.

Here’s a mini lesson by one of my favourite tutors, I hope you enjoy it. There are many more if you go to our resources page.

The people of Latin America have their own distinct language.

As you begin to understand more and more Spanish you will discover that some of the vocabulary is labeled specific to either Latin America or Spain. Within this vocabulary there are also multiple dialects that are connected directly to a region.  To stop this becoming confusing you should make sure that the beginners Spanish course you choose is very specific to your requirements. You would find it difficult for example, trying to learn from a course that teaches Castilian (of Spain) Spanish if you are in Latin America, or visa versa.

When you are familiar with the basic pronunciation and words used in the Spanish language you can move on and begin to understand the conjugating of verbs, this you will find to be totally different to what you are used to, but persevere, as the more you learn the simpler and more enjoyable it gets.
